PeaceTrees Vietnam is in the initial planning stages for our next trip to Vietnam this summer, and we hope you will be able to join us! PeaceTrees Citizen Diplomacy Trips provide an opportunity for volunteers to experience Vietnam from a unique and rewarding perspective. Our trips include several days at the beginning and end to explore Vietnam in its many facets – its scooter-filled cities, gracious old towns, beautiful beaches and sobering battlefields. But the real heart of the trip takes place in Quang Tri Province, an area which endured some of the heaviest bombardment and deadliest conflicts of the Vietnam War. During your two-week trip, you will be able to see most of the country, volunteer with one of our community service projects in Quang Tri Provence, and interact with the Vietnamese people in a meaningful way that few travelers ever get to experience.
