Do increased productivity, improved recruitment and retention, better business continuity and happier employees have an impact on your return on investment? If so, you might consider offering telework or compressed schedule options to your workers. Here’s why:

Perhaps you’ve noticed that your employees are stressed and vocal about the pinch the new SR 520 tolls deliver to their transportation budget. Oftentimes, the opportunity to telecommute just one day a week provides the relief that keeps an employee focused and productive in his or her job at your company. That’s what our early successes show. Employers who have participated in WorkSmart programs found on average that they improved productivity by 10 to 20 percent, reduced absenteeism by two to four days per teleworker per year, improved recruitment/retention, saved on overhead costs, and offered employees a greater work/life balance.

WorkSmart offers a free, one-on-one consultation to help you assess the steps for a customized and successful program. In addition, WorkSmart consultants can help develop presentations and marketing materials for your business, assess technology needs for remote working arrangements, and train managers and employees so that your business reaps the same rewards as others with strong telework programs. To learn more about the WorkSmart program join us at an informational workshop on either February 22, 2012 in Seattle or February 23, 2012 in Kirkland. (More details and registration information at http://kingcounty.gov/telework)
Or, contact our WorkSmart team. There is no cost to you but endless, long-term value for your business and employees. Contact: Ms. Elham Shirazi * worksmart@kingcounty.gov * 206.909.3498

People don’t buy features and benefits, they buy solutions to their problems. Come ready to discuss current sales obstacles and rediscover no-nonsense approaches to growing your business. Join us for an eye-opening look at the deficiencies of modern-day selling and Sandler Training’s tactics to manage it.

You will leave this session with ideas and tools you can implement immediately for the benefit of your business. This workshop is highly interactive.

Do you or your salespeople ever wonder…

How to effectively take control of a sales call without feeling like a pushy and annoying salesperson?

If it’s really possible to separate yourself from the competition on something other than price?

If there isn’t a better way to deal with money rather than waiting for it to become an objection somewhere down the road?

If there’s a way to stop buyers from continually shopping your products and services? Do you ever feel like an unpaid consultant?

If there is a non-manipulative way to begin selling when the prospect says “NO”?

Why traditional sales methods are no longer effective? (In fact, you’ll find they can be hazardous to your health and your bottom line!)

Executive Briefing: Break the Rules and Close More Sales

The workshop will be an overview of the Sandler Sales System. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to break free from the traditional sales approaches that reinforce negative behavior patterns on their sales calls. Participants are also given a “2-Minute Drill” of key points that can be used as a daily reminder of the techniques covered during the workshop.

Join James Alberson, president of Sandler Training who is a sales trainer, consultant and public speaker who brings 20 years of experience in sales, management, marketing, and training to his clients.

The Granite Curling Club of Seattle hosts corporate events. These 4-hour events are an opportunity to experience the sport of curling as part of an office/business group event. Many local businesses have conducted office parties, morale-boosting events, and meetings at our facility. We have five sheets of dedicated curling ice, which normally accommodates 40 people at a time. Larger groups will have less ice time per participant. We have an upstairs meeting room with WiFi, dining facilities and kitchen, and a bar. We have a short instructional session prior to each event, so no previous experience is required. Instructors and all equipment are included in the price of $30 per person. A bartender will be provided, if requested ($100 minimum bar tab). There is a $750 weekday and $1,000 Saturday minimum charge. Events are normally scheduled on most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm. Some Tuesdays are available. Saturday events are available in the afternoons and evenings. Information about the club and outreach events can be found at http://www.curlingseattle.org/groupevents/ .

Live calls will be made and participants will have the benefit of receiving coaching and feedback in between calls.

You don’t have to like cold calls, you just have to make them!

The boot camp is perfect for salespeople, managers and business owners who are:

Frustrated with getting the response of “Just send me information.”

Tired of not getting past the “Gate Keeper”

Experiencing call reluntance

Not getting enough qualified leads

Investment: $249 includes both Session A & B

The benefits of Session B include (but aren’t limited to):
- Feedback from other classmates on participant’s cold calls
- Ability to see others in action to pick up good cold calling habits and eliminate the bad ones
- Setting actual appointments to follow up on

Attendees should come prepared with:
- At least 10 legitimate targets to call
- A positive attitude toward improvement
- The courage to fail
- An intent to SUCCEED!

Here what past participants have to say about attending Cold Call Boot Camp:

The best move is “this is a cold call and my boss makes me do them…” Some were still upset, but they always rescued me. Awesome stuff! Thanks for the great class. BJ told me he has never had so much fun cold calling.

Cody from MoveUp Web Marketing

“Everything was great. Good material and made me excited about cold-calling. It was extremely helpful and I will recommend this to my boss for all new hires.”

Heather from Kelley Imaging

“James Alberson did a great job getting the group involved and opening a new way of thinking about Cold-Calling. It was a fun way to attack the normally dreaded part of sales.”

Billy Lavelle from Kelley Imaging

“Took away a lot of the mystery and anxiety of contacting strangers, you could do a segment on using the same techniques as a segway to dating.”

Tyler, transitioning into a sales role

The next Cold Call Boot Camp is a two part session beginning on Friday, February 17 with Session A from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Session B on Friday, February 24 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The boot camp will be held at Sandler Training Center on 2815 Eastlake Avenue E Suite 150, Seattle, WA 98102.
Pilates (pronounced: puh-LAH-teez) is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates in Germany. Pilates called his method Contrology because he believed his method uses the mind to control the muscles. The exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep core muscles. The system focuses on doing one precise and perfect movement, rather than many halfhearted ones. The goal is for this precision to eventually become second nature, and carry over into everyday life as grace and economy of movement.
