Do increased productivity, improved recruitment and retention, better business continuity and happier employees have an impact on your return on investment? If so, you might consider offering telework or compressed schedule options to your workers. Here’s why:

Perhaps you’ve noticed that your employees are stressed and vocal about the pinch the new SR 520 tolls deliver to their transportation budget. Oftentimes, the opportunity to telecommute just one day a week provides the relief that keeps an employee focused and productive in his or her job at your company. That’s what our early successes show. Employers who have participated in WorkSmart programs found on average that they improved productivity by 10 to 20 percent, reduced absenteeism by two to four days per teleworker per year, improved recruitment/retention, saved on overhead costs, and offered employees a greater work/life balance.

WorkSmart offers a free, one-on-one consultation to help you assess the steps for a customized and successful program. In addition, WorkSmart consultants can help develop presentations and marketing materials for your business, assess technology needs for remote working arrangements, and train managers and employees so that your business reaps the same rewards as others with strong telework programs. To learn more about the WorkSmart program join us at an informational workshop on either February 22, 2012 in Seattle or February 23, 2012 in Kirkland. (More details and registration information at http://kingcounty.gov/telework)
Or, contact our WorkSmart team. There is no cost to you but endless, long-term value for your business and employees. Contact: Ms. Elham Shirazi * worksmart@kingcounty.gov * 206.909.3498

Do you or your salespeople ever wonder…

How to effectively take control of a sales call without feeling like a pushy and annoying salesperson?

If it’s really possible to separate yourself from the competition on something other than price?

If there isn’t a better way to deal with money rather than waiting for it to become an objection somewhere down the road?

If there’s a way to stop buyers from continually shopping your products and services? Do you ever feel like an unpaid consultant?

If there is a non-manipulative way to begin selling when the prospect says “NO”?

Why traditional sales methods are no longer effective? (In fact, you’ll find they can be hazardous to your health and your bottom line!)

The workshop will be an overview of the Sandler Sales System. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to break free from the traditional sales approaches that reinforce negative behavior patterns on their sales calls. Participants are also given a “2-Minute Drill” of key points that can be used as a daily reminder of the techniques covered during the workshop.
