West Coast Paper becomes WCP Solutions

West Coast Paper announced that it will change its name to WCP Solutions. The new name and tagline, “Paper, Packaging, Jansan, Equipment” reinforce the company’s commitment to providing solutions to support its customers’ success.
WPC Solutions is a full line distributor focused on the success of our manufacturing and service customers. It provides solutions in paper, packaging, janitorial and food service supplies along with packaging and janitorial equipment sales and repair. Its new name “WCP Solutions” more accurately reflects this focus as the company continues to drive the value of its relationships to new levels and to build upon a base of consistently reliable service and quality products.
Through 80+ years operating as West Coast Paper Company, WCP Solutions has become a leading multi segment supplier to customers in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Northern California, Western Wyoming, and Northern Utah. With its philosophy of being ‘local,’ the company offers sales, customer service, merchandising, warehousing, delivery and on-site decision making from facilities that are close to its customer base.
On September 1, 2010, West Coast Paper officially becomes WCP Solutions. The new name will be more and more visible as the company’s fleet of trucks receive new signage over time, as the building signs are updated, and as its marketing pieces are refreshed. In other ways, the company is not changing. “Our ownership, management, employees, suppliers, and our commitment to the local markets we serve has not changed,” said David Yonce, President.
