Long before there were fashion shows with catwalks, ladies of elegance attended the races where women of stature strutted their latest fashions, including those trademark hats. Times have changed, and so has fashion, but this long-standing tradition has not.

This event honors the old-time custom when women dressed in their finest for an elegant day at the tracks. Guests are encouraged to follow this traditional attire, so make sure to wear your best heels and don’t be afraid to sport a hat large enough to be considered a sun umbrella.

The night begins at 5 p.m. with an exclusive shopping event where guests can enjoy boutique-style shopping, hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine before the first race begins at 6 p.m. We will have various vendors ranging from jewelry to skin products. Ten percent of the sales will go to the Children’s Therapy Center who provides quality therapeutic services designed to empower children with special needs and their families.

After stocking up on the latest fashions, guests can then use the provided racing program and tip sheet to make educated bets and, hopefully, win some extra dough.
