The University of Washington’s Career Center is seeking area and national employers to participate in its annual career and internship fair, the largest career fair open to UW students and alumni, set this year for April 14.

“Last year was amazing,” said Nick Morse, manager of marketing and communications for The Career Center. “We had nearly 4,000 attendees from all experience levels, degree status and major. Employers who exhibited told us it was the best fair yet.”

The fair, held annually on the Seattle campus by The Career Center, usually hosts nearly 150 companies, nonprofit and government organizations seeking qualified entry-level UW students and graduates, as well as experienced alumni, for summer, part and full-time jobs as well as internships.

“Many employers see exhibiting at the fair as an opportunity not only to meet some of the best and brightest students and alumni face to face, but also a way to build visibility within the UW community,” said Emma O’Neill, event coordinator at The Career Center.

Registration for the event is now open to businesses and organizations for a small fee. “In response to past exhibitor suggestions, we have completely revised our exhibitor pricing and have provided complete turnkey packages focused on helping them attract quality candidates while building their brand on campus.” Morse said.

The fair, in its 14th year, provides a high level of visibility for companies and organizations and pulls students and alumni from all UW campuses, with promotional opportunities for the firms that participate.
