How to Make Money Online in 2010 and Beyond
Tuesday, March 23, 2010

5:00pm – 8:30pm
Showbox Sodo

Join us March 23 for this special TechFlash Live quarterly event, featuring an evening of networking with the technology community, a chance to test your ping-pong skills, and key insights into cutting-edge online business models.

Panel Discussion: As the economy recovers, companies are searching harder than ever for new ways to create viable business models in the Internet economy. Many technology startups are faced with a dilemma – bet the future of their businesses on advertising, or look for alternative sources of revenue?

During this special TechFlash Live event, hosted by editors John Cook and Todd Bishop, we’ll tap the minds of an experienced panel of experts (see list below) in digital marketing and publishing for insights on the changing landscape, and new ways of thinking. Attendees at this unique event will come away with practical tips for the present and long-term strategies for the future.

Special Bonus: This first TechFlash Live will also serve as a recreational warmup and scouting venue for our second annual TechFlash Ping-Pong Tournament, slated for this summer. We’ll be bringing ping-pong tables to the Showbox Sodo on March 23 so you can test your skills against your rivals and gear up for one of the most anticipated events of the year. The TechFlash team will also be keeping an eye on the recreational games to help determine seeding for the tournament.

Expert panelists:

  • Aaron Finn, founder and chairman, AdReady
  • Jeff Lanctot, managing director of advertiser and publisher solutions, Microsoft; former chief strategy officer, Razorfish
  • Brian McAndrews, managing director, Madrona Venture Group; former CEO, aQuantive
