How Small Business can thrive and grow in this recession

Don’t leave anything on the table…learn how to maximize all the resources available to you through programs from our national, state and local governments.  Join our group of local and federal panelists as they help guide your small and mid-market business through these tough times, by taking advantage of stimulus opportunities and resources that are in place to help you.
The Opportunity Exchange will also clarify what the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) means to your business and how you can work the maze of paperwork and regulations to grow your business. We will also include information on Request for Proposal’s, Request for Quotation’s and other ways to build business through federal, state, and local contracting opportunities.

Panelists include

Richard Berndt, Public Works Project Officer , U.S. Department of Commerce, EDA – over 13 years of economic development experience

Mark Costello, Lead Lender Relations Specialist, U.S. Small Business Administration - with the Small Business Administration for 20 years

Ruth Ann Halford, Small Business Development Center –a part of the small business assistance field in one way or another for over 20 years

Elizabeth Rusnak, Vice President / Senior Loan Officer, Northwest Business Development Association (NWBDA) - in the banking industry since 1985 and involved in the SBA industry since 1990

The discussion will be moderated by Council for Small Business Chair Tracy Corley, Chief Strategist of Tracy A. Corley & Associates (a division of TsuluWerks, Inc.).
