SEATTLE, WA (February 9, 2010) – City Confidant (www.CityConfidant.com) launches its inaugural Seattle/Eastside edition on February 22, 2010 with an opt-in e-mail subscription service and web site that targets the Baby Boomer audience. Using City Confidant’s sophisticated and uncluttered content, this age demographic can rediscover its home city. Each day, City Confidant will offer carefully selected recommendations for local dining, entertainment, shopping, culture, travel, events, and more.
Subscribers can opt to receive city-wide information based on their specific interests. Here’s the line-up:
• Travel bugs are carried off every Monday with Escape.
• Food lovers devour Tuesday’s Foodie.
• Shopaholics can splurge with Wednesday’s Scoop.
• Thursday’s Weekend Guide provides outing activities and cultural events that aficionados enjoy.
• Friday’s The Good Life covers the local scene.
“Whether it’s a new restaurant opening, a weekend getaway, the perfect gift for entertaining or a local theater production, our local editorial team will not simply list businesses in your zip code – we will provide savvy advice and recommendations in a casual tone, much like an e-mail from a trusted friend,” said founder Jordan Kaye. “While City Confidant’s editorial content is targeted toward Baby Boomers, we hope that our articles appeal to all age groups, especially the exclusive giveaways.”
City Confidant plans to launch additional cities in the near future.
