The University of Farmers training facility, located in Agoura Hills, California, was officially dedicated November 3, 2006.  Farmers CEO Robert Woudstra noted that the University is national in scope, and offers training to Farmers’ 15,000 agents and their staff, 500 district managers and 10,000 claims staff year round.

Ryan and David both completed the Staffing for Success course, which is designed to assist the Farmers agent in finding, selecting, and positioning excellent staff persons for maximum agency proficiency,” explained Annette Thompson, senior vice president of Farmers. “The course is all encompassing and teaches a Farmers agent how to manage, motivate and compensate the agency team to keep them focused on our customers.”
