Join the Trade Development Alliance for a talk with Jason Child, Vice President Finance – International Retail at Amazon.com to look at current trends in the retail industry, thoughts about where it is going from here and the importance of the industry to our regional economy.
Jason is an International Finance leader with 17 years of experience in United States, Europe and Asia, creating and managing large groups in the areas of business partnering, accounting, planning/budgeting, internal audit, investor relations and process consulting.
Jason Child has worked for Amazon.com since 1999. In his current position, Jason leads the team that provides financial analysis and reporting, accounting and business support to Amazon’s $9+ billion retail business teams in UK, Germany, France, Japan and China.
His previous experience includes eight years with Arthur Andersen first in accounting and process consulting. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Accounting Concentration and obtained his CPA in the state of Washington. Jason lives in the Seattle area with his wife, son & daughter. He is a runner and bicyclist as well as an avid traveler.
